City of Montreuil – Basketball court
14m x 17m – Ground mural – Larger than life painting created on a street basketball court with integrated game lines
A 240 m² ground mural and my first painted sports court. In collaboration with the City of Montreuil and the agency Peint à la Main, I created this mural on a street basketball court, following a relatively open creative brief titled “Girl Power.” Aiming to attract more female players, the city wanted vibrant and dynamic colors. The design features a mirrored pattern of leaves, flowers, stars, and hearts, visible on both sides of the court, as well as the words “love” and “hope” highlighted on either side. The drawing was entirely transferred to the ground freehand, using a grid system. The project was completed in five days with the help of a team of three assistants.
